Manage EUM Administrators

The highest level of access and customization within External User Manager is reserved for EUM Admins. As an EUM Admin, you're able to control all Guest Access settings within EUM, create and manage Onboarding Procedures, and institute Access timeframes and evaluations.

The person who sets up External User Manager for the first time is automatically assigned as the EUM Default Admin (not to be confused with the Teams Admin), which can be more than enough for small organizations; if you're in charge of a larger structure, however, it could be useful to have several EUM Admins who can watch each other's backs.

Let's go through the process of adding additional EUM Admins and explore some of the privileges that these users will receive.

⚙️ Add New EUM Administrators

  1. Navigate to Settings > Expert mode > Administrators.
  2. Click on + Add an administrator.
  3. Type in the Name of the user that you'd like to grant Administrative Privileges to. Note that you can add more than one Admin at once.
  4. Click on Add.
  5. Your newly added Administrator will appear under your name in the Admin List.
  6. If you want to remove an Administrator from the list, simply click the X icon next to their name.

Now, the person you've added will have all of the same Administrative Privileges you do.
