How Do I Rename a Team?

Teams Manager doesn't directly alter the team naming process outside of the initial request. When the Admin is approving a team, they're able to edit the name in the approval pop-up.

Otherwise, to rename an existing team:

1. Navigate to the Chat tab in Microsoft Teams.
2. Find the team you'd like to rename.
3. Click the … button next to its name.
4. Select Manage team.
5. Switch to the Settings tab and click Edit.
6. Edit the team name as desired and click Done.
